Join us every first Saturday of the month for a refreshing experience at the
Clinton Church of the Nazarene
In Clinton, New Jersey. Join our monthly outreach to introduce or reintroduce folks to Jesus by answering their most pressing questions about Christianity.
The topic in April, 2018 will be:
Bring friends and relatives for a new experience of Christian love.
The church building will be open to you from 8am till 9pm. The call has gone out to all Christians across the nation to unite in prayer today. Our sanctuary has been prepared with tables for you to pray for 13 aspects of our country’s life. You might find some of them difficult. Leave a written – one line – prayer if you can.
Some people get hooked on opioids that are left over in medicine cabinets. On Saturday, April 29, from 10am till 2pm, you can take the painkillers and drugs you no longer use to the Flemington Court House or the police stations in High Bridge, Clinton Township, or Readington. See www.safecoalition.com for more information.
Continuing our 22-year tradition, we're having a church lunch on the last Sunday of the month. Come for a great time of getting to know your fellow churchgoers better. We'd love it if you bring a favorite recipe, but we'd love it even more if you stayed, whether or not you brought food!
Will there be Candles at this year’s Christmas Eve Service?
Why of course! That evening is so beautiful and the atmosphere so blessed that we just have to end with silent night and the burning candles. Be here at 7pm for an inspirational time. There will be coffee and fellowship afterwards.
Bring a holiday dish to share (sweet or savory), and your favorite Bible verse(s) celebrating the incarnation and birth of Christ, our Savior.
Looking forward to this blessing as we share our JOY!
All are welcome to gather for Christmas Caroling on Sunday, Dec. 11th at 4:00 p.m., at Littlebrook Nursing Home on Stryker Ave in Califon. Bring your good cheer and an instrument to play along. Please confirm with Sandy Buchanon/908-803-5897, as I may need to get ahold of you prior to the scheduled date/time.
We'll also be distributing small gifts to the residents and staff of Littlebrook at that time. The residents appreciate: small packets of tissues, fingerless gloves, cozy soft socks that are easy to slip on, handcreame, small stuffed animals, large print books or magazines, combs/hair brushes, shells or small lap blankets, and HUGS! :) The staff is blessed by any card or token of your love. i.e. Dunkin Donuts gift cards.
Men in their program for seeking victory over substance abuse will be visiting our morning service. They will sing and testify and give you an opportunity to know more about their ranch here in Hunterdon County. After service they will stay to answer questions.
